ABOUT
Hello.
This is Ohara from Noir Tokyo.
Let me tell you a little about our establishment.
This may sound a bit exaggerated, but I believe we have the largest number of gay foreign customers in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and indeed in all of Japan (Shinjuku is home to the largest gay town in Asia).
As a small establishment, we receive many inquiries, but unfortunately we cannot fulfill all requests.
However, if you choose to visit us, all of our staff will do their best to meet your expectations.
So, what about other establishments?
There are many establishments with larger operations than ours. They have great operations and great guys.
However, the owners and staff don’t speak English, don’t make any effort to understand foreign cultures, and most requests are ignored.
And the staff there don’t really welcome foreigners.
This is because they can make a living just by accepting reservations from regular customers. For them, the different culture, different English, and cumbersome operations get in the way of their regular work.
And now, Japan is facing an immigration problem, due to a small number of unruly foreign immigrants. Not only the gay community, but the entire country is fed up with overtourism and has a tendency to be unwelcoming toward foreigners. Of course, Japanese people don’t show it on their faces or say it out loud.
It’s true that Japan is becoming increasingly conservative. And a restaurant (sushi shop) run by an acquaintance of mine has banned all foreigners from entering. (Well… the owner is very artistic and can be difficult, so I understand his decision!!)
That’s why I believe our service is so necessary.
The reason I (Ohara) welcome foreigners is because I’ve traveled to Europe, Asia, North America, and many other countries, and have been helped by gay communities and gay people of all races. People of different races and sexualities meeting and respecting each other. It’s a wonderful feeling!!!!
Some of our customers are foreigners living in Japan, and some frequently visit for business.
When you feel like “something is missing today” or “you’re feeling lonely,” we want to be the kind of presence that reminds you of NOIR TOKYO.
We want to continue to be that kind of presence.
Noir Tokyo welcomes anyone who respects Japanese culture and Japan’s gay community.
Conversely, there are gay people who have discriminatory feelings toward gays, gay massage, and gay escorts (why!? Self-loathing!?). We will absolutely refuse to allow such people to use our services, even if they are Japanese.
We don’t need a lot of money or a lot of customers. Instead, we need a little respect. That’s all.
So, we look forward to meeting you.
Thank you.
Ohara
